During the afternoon of the 17th November, Pattaya police were notified that a horrific accident had occurred at a construction site in Naklua, and 4 construction workers had been killed. Sawang Boriboon medics were told and the team rushed to the scene, including Pattaya Mayor Ittipol Khunplome and many dignitaries to investigate the incident. They learned that a huge heavyweight crane, which was being dismantled, had collapsed carrying 7 workers, 4 of whom died from horrific injuries after the debris fell on them. An investigation is now taking place about safety issues with the construction company responsible for the site.
