A meeting took place at Pattaya City Hall on the afternoon of the 8th March, with Deputy Mayor Weerawat Kahkai presiding. The talks were about the safety issues for the Pattaya International Music Festival, which will take place along Pattaya Beach Road on the 19th to 21st March. Attending were representatives from all police forces in Pattaya and Banglamung and the Sawang Boriboon Foundation. The festival is expected to bring in a boost to the economy with over 300 leading Thai artists and many others from around the world who have been invited to perform to a crowd of an estimated 600,000 visitors.
