Due to the current unrest with the political situation in Bangkok, and the upcoming Songkran festival, Banglamung police together with Sawang Boriboon Volunteers got together on the afternoon of the 9th March to take part in a mockup traffic accident exercise. The scene was at the intersection with Sawangfa temple on Sukhumvit Road, where a full scale mockup of an accident was set up, including the transfer of the actor ‘victims’ to hospital. At the same time Pattaya Police was setting up a drill exercise to suppress people from carrying weapons who will be attending the Bangkok demonstrations over the next few days.
