Since the weather has been extremely hot over the past few weeks, our reporters went out to check on the state of the water levels at the local reservoirs. Not only Mabprachan but also the water level at Shaknok is getting dangerously low, giving rise to the question that a drought is about to occur for Pattaya and surrounding areas. If that is the case, representatives from the East Water Company stated that they have a plan for a drought situation, by taking water from Bangprakong river, Bangphra, Nongplalai and Klong Prasae to transport to Mabprachan and Shaknock.
